In the latest Wisconsin Employer Survey, state business leaders were widely found to support President Trump’s plan to impose tariffs on goods imported from China, but were less enthusiastic about tariffs on nations like Canada and Mexico. Despite this general support of tariffs, however, 50 percent of the executives acknowledged an increase would impact their business negatively.
