for our monthly Lunch & Learn!
On Tuesday, November 5, 2024, our community will vote on a proposed $7.9 million recurring operational referendum. If approved, the referendum would enable DASD to fund the following priorities:
- Maintain class sizes and instructional programming
- Manage enrollment growth and retain staff
- Maintain infrastructure, including technology, school safety, and emergency preparedness
- Please join DASD Administrators and members of the Board of Education to learn more about the referendum, including the tax impact, as well to have the opportunity to have any questions answered.
In addition, DAHS teachers Melissa Volz and Katie Buonincontro will discuss the innovative special education programs at the high school. These programs are dedicated to providing students with valuable educational experiences and work opportunities, equipping them with essential skills for success beyond the classroom. Discover how the local community and businesses can collaborate to enhance opportunities for students with special needs, ensuring a bright future ahead.
