We are excited to share with you an insightful presentation about one of the most fascinating and vital parts of our local law enforcement—the DeForest Police Department's K-9 Unit: Officer Adam Deppe and Cyro!
Police dogs play a crucial role in keeping our communities safe. These highly trained canines, along with their dedicated handlers, assist in search and rescue missions, narcotics and explosives detection, suspect apprehension, and patrol work. Their remarkable skills and unwavering loyalty make them indispensable members of the force.
You will get a behind-the-scenes look at how these K-9 teams operate. You’ll learn about the intensive training process, the special bond between officer and their canine partner, and the real-life scenarios where these teams make a life-saving difference.
They will share their experiences, provide a live demonstration of the dogs’ skills, and answer any questions you may have.
