JX Truck Center to host Community Blood Drive with ImpactLife Tuesday, May 28
Donations made with ImpactLife support SSM Health St. Mary’s and communities throughout our region.
(Madison, WI) – A community blood drive with ImpactLife will be on Tuesday, May 28 from 12:00pm until 4:00pm at JX Truck Center located 4205 Anderson Rd., Madison. ImpactLife is the provider of blood and blood components to SSM Health St. Mary’s Hospital and many other communities in our region. To schedule an appointment for donation, call (800) 747-5401 or online at www.bloodcenter.org, or via the ImpactLife mobile app (www.bloodcenter.org/app).
Blood donations are often used to help treat patients with cancer, victims of trauma and patients undergoing major surgeries. All persons age 17 and up (or 16, with a signed parental permission form) who weigh at least 110 lbs. and are in general good health meet the basic eligibility requirements for blood donation. All donors that register to give at this drive will receive choice of gift card, bonus points to the donor loyalty store or can choose a donation on their behalf to Best Friends Society, the featured charity for May.

The DeForest Windsor Area Chamber 4th of July Parade is a tradition of the community celebration. We are honored to have our Veterans, American Legion, color guard and our local Police, Fire and EMS units lead the parade. We are proud to have Village leaders and area businesses participate. We enjoy having the high school band, spirit squads and sports teams, along with youth groups, sports organizations, churches, local vintage tractors and classic cars.
Register your organization to march in the 4th of July Parade!
Parade Line-up: Line up will take place in the high school parking lot. You will be assigned a line up number and space in the DAHS parking lot. We will contact you NO EARLIER than one week prior to the parade with your line number and specific instructions for the day. Only one vehicle allowed in parade per entry! Golf carts are not allowed.
Parking: FOR SAFETY OF PARADE PARTICIPANTS, ONLY VEHICLES IN THE PARADE WILL BE ALLOWED IN THE DAHS PARKING LOT!
Drop off: There will be a designated Drop-Off site for those taking part in the parade, along with parking for non-parade vehicles. Further instructions will be sent with registration confirmation.
For the safety and enjoyment of ALL, NO STOPPING allowed during the parade! If interested in performing, please contact the Chamber!
Candy MUST be handed out by walkers, NOT thrown from vehicle, trailer or float.
No Water! Due to bad practices in 2022, we have eliminated any water spraying!
Safety rails of 36" and hand holds are required if float has riders!
