Relay For Life 2015
Come join us for a unique celebration of life in honor and in memory of those whose lives have been touched by cancer. It has been described as a "huge compassionate support group" - a place where friends, family and loved ones join to celebrate survivorship and to honor those who have lost their battle. Relay For Life involves teams of 8-15 people take turns walking or running around the track all night long. Everyone is welcome! Join us for the survivor lap during the opening ceremony or at the Luminaria Ceremony, where the track is lit by candlelight in honor of those who survived cancer and in memory of those who lost their battle. This is a very emotional and special ceremony. Money that is raised helps support the American Cancer Society programs in research, education, advocacy, and service - locally, statewide and nationally.
