Jeff Hollander started playing big band music after he listened to his uncle's big band records. He grew up in Rochester\, New York and was awarded a scholarship to Eastman School of Music at the age of seven. He received his bachelors and Masters degrees from Eastman and then received his PHD from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor. He then joined the music faculty at UW Milwaukee where he taught piano for many years. He was also employed by the Marcus Corporation for 40 years playing the piano in the lobby lounge of the Pfister Hotel and giving concerts in the Blu lounge on the 23rd floor.\n\nThey will have coffee and refreshments following the concert!
