DESCRIPTION:The DeForest Area School District's Board of Education has a long tradition of engaging internal and external stakeholders in conversations that help to align community values and priorities with our school district.\n\nWe would like to engage all DASD stakeholders -- parents\, staff\, students\, business\, clergy civic organizations\, government officials\, and other community members -- in a facilitated conversation designed to reflect on and discuss this past year\, to share and understand a variety of perspectives\, and to find ways to move our DASD community forward positively into the new school year.\n\nThis structured conversation will be facilitated by Drew Howick\, of Howick & Associates.\n\nOutcomes of the event:\n\n\n Give people a collective understanding of the 2020-21 school year (historical timeline).\n Give participants an opportunity to reflect and to share the impact of this past year with others.\n Share the District's plans for moving forward (what we've learned\, and what practices we want to keep\, change\, and end).\n Provide participants an opportunity to share their hopes and suggestions for moving forward.\n\n\nPlease join us! Share this invitation with friends\, neighbors\, family members who reside or work within the DeForest Area School District boundaries.\n\nWhat's included:\n\n\n Food (snacks and water/soda) - please let us know if you have allergies that we should be aware of\n Child care\, if needed (high school students will be helping out)\n Interpreter - let us know if you need one
